The Yank Down Under is the story of a young American, who in the mid-nineteen seventies accepts a teaching job in Australia. This starts a two-year Australian Adventure of cross-country travels, new friends, colorful characters, and a historical basketball journey. This is my story, from Melbourne to Queensland, New Zealand to Singapore, come ride along while I share the experience. Join me, a college track and football player, make an impact on a national basketball team while giving a vision to new young players. My hope is that you will have fun, as I did. The Yank Down Under has no agenda nor is it meant to educate, although you will learn a few things on the ride. This book is purely to entertain. I encourage you to join me as we experience this ADVENTURE together. If you will try just a little bit, life can be a lot of fun.
